BIOGRAPHY
J’aime l’idée de travailler le minéral en utilisant différents métaux, différentes oxydations, la pierre ou encore le verre pour y insuffler de la vie…mes oeuvres sont une ode au monde du vivant.
J’essaie de capter l’essence même de la nature en explorant aussi bien l’intimité d’infimes détails que la position et l’attitude générale de l’animal ou du végétal.
Je vis mon travail comme un hommage à nos « voisins de vie », qu’ils soient minuscules ou plus imposants, avec qui nous avons tant de mal à partager notre planète.
Le confinement de 2020 a été pour moi l’occasion d’une longue introspection contemplative qui m’a amené à me plonger plus encore dans l’art qui, à travers la pratique de la musique, de la peinture et du dessin, a toujours fait partie intrinsèque de ma vie.
J’ai donc décidé de quitter l’industrie aéronautique, grâce à laquelle j’ai pu assouvir ma passion pour l’aviation et la technologie, pour vivre pleinement pour et par l’art.
I like the idea of working the mineral universe using different metals, different oxidations, stone or even glass to breathe life into it… my works are an ode to the living world.
I try to capture the very essence of nature by exploring both the intimacy of tiny details and the general position and attitude of the animal or plant.
I live my work as a tribute to our « life neighbors », whether little or larger, with whom we find it so difficult to share our planet.
The confinement of 2020 was for me the occasion of a long contemplative introspection which led me to immerse myself even more in art which, through the practice of music, painting and drawing, has always been an intrinsic part of my life.
I therefore decided to leave the aeronautical industry, thanks to which I was able to satisfy my passion for aviation and technology, to live fully for and through art
